See what had happened was…
*slaps the dust off the blog*
I know I know. It has been damn near a year since I last blogged. See what had happened was… 2017 showed all the way out and I just couldn’t sit still to compose a post. One of my New Years resolutions was to update this at least once a week. Let’s see how long this will last.
I could go on and on about how much of a fuck boy 2017 was but it’s a new year and I’d like to forget it and say HELLO 2018. HEY BIG HEAD! My other New Years resolutions are:
- Lose 20-30 lbs. Instead of being sad about how I look now it’s time to stop the fucking whining and do something about it. I actually started the 30 Day No Sugar Challenge aka #TeamNoSugar today. I was able to dodge cake and candy at work but succumbed to rice when I got home when my daughter refused to eat it. If you’re interested check it out here. And follow Brigida Mack (my favorite local news reporter) on Facebook. She has so many useful tips and advice.
- Pay off three credit cards. *hangs head in shame* I don’t know how I got sucked into these damn credit cards but enough is enough. Seems like I was better with money in my twenties than I am in my thirties. After I get these damn cards paid off I need to get serious about saving.
- Check people the first time they do or say something that isn’t right. This is a big one for me but I look at it like this now: If you don’t check someone they will keep on doing it again and think it’s ok to do. No. No longer.
- Learn Photoshop and a how to edit videos. This shouldn’t be hard but for the life of me when I sit down and get on Lynda.com to learn, I end up going to Lipstick Alley or Twitter and getting sucked into some nonsense like the 234323 threads on LSA about Chris Cornell’s death…omg so many threads. Hopefully once I rid my body of sugar I’ll be able to focus better.
I hope if you’ve made any new years resolutions they come to fruition this year. I’m scared to say this is going to be an amazing year because I don’t want to jinx it early on but I’m sure it will be better than last year. It has to be. Wishing everyone health, happiness, and riches in 2018.
